Aluro Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This policy defines the boundaries of acceptable use of Aluro's commercial invoicing and fulfillment platform ("Platform"). It exists to protect the integrity of the Platform, its customers, and Aluro's commercial operations.
Aluro operates as a commercial principal. This policy governs how the Platform may be used.
2. Acceptable Use
Aluro's Platform is designed for businesses to:
- Issue invoices for legitimate commercial transactions
- Collect payment from customers
- Fulfill services through Aluro's network of independent suppliers
- Maintain reconciliation and reporting records
Any use of the Platform must be consistent with these purposes and with the Terms of Service.
3. Prohibited Uses
Customers may not use Aluro to:
3.1 Fraudulent or Misleading Activity
- Issue invoices for goods or services that do not exist
- Issue invoices with materially inaccurate amounts, descriptions, or customer information
- Create records intended to mislead customers, auditors, or authorities
- Fabricate payment confirmations or reconciliation records
3.2 Illegal Activity
- Issue invoices for goods or services that are illegal under applicable law
- Use the Platform in connection with money laundering, sanctions evasion, or terrorist financing
- Use the Platform to circumvent legal or regulatory obligations
3.3 Platform Abuse
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Use the Platform on behalf of undisclosed third parties
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform
- Attempt to access data belonging to other customers
- Use automated systems to interact with the Platform in a manner that degrades service for others
3.4 Prohibited Categories
Aluro will not issue invoices or provide services related to:
- Gambling, gaming, betting, or sweepstakes
- Adult content or adult services
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives
- Controlled substances, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia
- Cannabis / marijuana products (regardless of local legality)
- Unlicensed pharmaceuticals
- Counterfeit goods, replicas, or IP-infringing goods
- Human trafficking, exploitation, or escort services
- Terrorism or terrorist financing
- Unlicensed or unregulated financial services
- Pyramid schemes, ponzi schemes, or deceptive MLM
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive marketing
- Hacking, malware, cybercrime services, or anonymization tools intended to conceal proceeds of crime
- Any goods or services illegal under U.S. law
4. Customer Responsibility
4.1 Accuracy of Information
Customers are responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of all information provided to Aluro, including invoice details and customer information.
4.2 Compliance
Customers are responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to their business operations.
5. Enforcement
5.1 Detection
Aluro may review account activity for compliance with this policy. Review may include automated checks and manual review when warranted.
5.2 Actions
If Aluro determines that a Customer has violated this policy, Aluro may:
- Issue a warning
- Suspend the Customer's access to the Platform
- Terminate the Customer's account
- Withhold pending supplier compensation
- Report activity to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
5.3 No Obligation to Monitor
Aluro is not obligated to monitor all Customer activity. Enforcement is at Aluro's discretion.
