What is Aluro?
Aluro is a commercial invoicing and fulfillment platform for businesses. Aluro issues invoices, collects payment from customers, and fulfills services through independent suppliers.
How does it work?
- You sign up for an Aluro account.
- Aluro issues invoices on your behalf.
- Your customers pay Aluro directly.
- Aluro fulfills the service through its network of independent suppliers.
- You receive reporting and reconciliation through the platform.
Who does my customer pay?
Your customer pays Aluro. Payment obligations under invoices issued through Aluro are owed to Aluro. Upon receipt of payment, the customer's obligation is satisfied.
How are suppliers paid?
Aluro compensates suppliers from its own operating funds under separate commercial agreements. Supplier compensation is Aluro's independent business expense.
Is Aluro a payment processor?
No. Aluro operates as a commercial principal -- a merchant of record. Aluro is not a payment processor, escrow agent, custodian, or money transmitter. Customers pay Aluro for services, and Aluro independently compensates its suppliers.
Is Aluro a bank?
No. Aluro is not a bank, credit union, or financial institution. Aluro does not maintain customer balances, stored value accounts, or wallet functionality.
Invoicing
Can I customize my invoices?
Yes. You define the invoice details and terms within the platform.
Does Aluro send invoices to my customers?
Yes. Aluro issues and distributes invoices to your customers. Invoices are issued by Aluro as the commercial principal.
How does payment confirmation work?
When a customer pays an invoice, Aluro records the payment and updates the invoice status. Payment confirmation is handled through the platform.
Payments
What happens to payments received by Aluro?
Payments received by Aluro are treated as Aluro's revenue and are managed as part of its general operating funds. Aluro does not maintain customer balances, stored value, or wallet functionality.
Does Aluro hold money on behalf of customers?
No. Aluro does not hold funds in trust, escrow, or segregated accounts. Payments received by Aluro are Aluro's revenue.
Records and Reconciliation
What records does Aluro maintain?
Aluro maintains invoice data, payment records, fulfillment status, and reconciliation records within the platform.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Aluro provides data export functionality for your records.
How long are records retained?

Fees
What does Aluro cost?
Aluro charges subscription and usage-based commercial fees. All fees are disclosed before invoicing.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Aluro's fees are disclosed at the time of subscription and before each billing period.

How do I cancel my subscription?
